The Best Kind of Health Insurance

Did you know that users of Shaklee Nutritional Supplements
are QUANTIFIABLY HEALTHIER than users of any other brand?

The University of California at Berkley has recently completed a
massive and history-making study that compared
users of many different types of available supplements.

The results are amazing!

Just for starters: Users of Shaklee Supplements
live an average of 15-20 years LONGER
than users of any other products you can buy!

That's just the beginning.

Shaklee supplement users have far less occurances of most major diseases!

The study results lists them ... and they're amazing as well.

You can download a .pdf file of a one page

Supplemental Study Results Summary here:

The FDA has maintained, since 2000, that
ALL people should now be taking supplements to boost their diets,
because we're too busy to eat correctly, and
we've simply engineered most of the nutritional value
right out of our food supply in order to have a long "shelf-life".

Read the study, and see if you don't agree that
Shaklee Supplements are the ones you'll want to
use regularly to promote and protect the health and well-being of your family.

While we're at it ... have you looked into the New Shaklee Vitalizer?

Vitalizer is Shaklee's new, complete nutritional supplement package.
Absorption of vitamins and minerals is guaranteed to be
much higher than anything else on the market.

In fact, the "Delivery System" employed by
the new Vitalizer supplement package is so revolutionary ...
Shaklee has just obtained FOUR US PATENTS on the process.

Hazardous Household Wastes

What's Happening in Campbell County, Kentucky just released their Spring/Summer 2008 edition. This is the usual Blah Blah Blah that governments publish and only people with a lot of time on their hand read. I was sorting the mail over the recycle bin while I was cooking dinner and glanced through the publication.

Sanitation District No. 1 published an article which caught my eye entitled Not Down My Drain. Listen to this recommendation to protect our waterways:

"Properly disposing household products such as cleansers, beauty products, medicine, auto fluids, used motor oil, paint, and lawn care products at your local household hazardous waste facility."

Cleansers? Beauty Products? Hazardous Waste???? YES!!

When consumers buy commercial cleaning products, we expect them to do one thing: clean! Many use a wide array of scents, soaps, detergents, bleaching agents, softeners, scourers, polishes, and specialized cleaners for bathrooms, glass, drains, and ovens to keep homes sparkling and sweet-smelling. But while the chemicals in cleaners foam, bleach, and disinfect to make our dishes, bathtubs and countertops gleaming and germ-free, many also contribute to indoor air pollution, are poisonous if ingested, and can be harmful if inhaled or touched. In fact, some cleaners are among the most toxic products found in the home.

In 2000, cleaning products were responsible for nearly 10% of all toxic exposures reported to U.S. Poison Control Centers, accounting for 206,636 calls. Of these, 120,434 exposures involved children under six, who can swallow or spill cleaners stored or left open inside the home.

Sure, everyone can figure out that if it's "harsh" like oven cleaner or drain cleaner, it must be bad. But how can you scour with a cleanser and not contaminate yourself and your home? And those window cleaners and all-purpous cleaners? What's heart-breaking is how we see so many occurrences of cancers and THEN find out that this and this and this are PROBABLE CULPRITS. And what have we been doing to our children? Have you seen how the rates of asthma are climbing?

Cell Phone Recycling

Speaking of cell phones, it seems like every time I change cell phone plans, I change cell phones. I can't help it. They offer 'new and improved' and fantastic rebates. So what have I been doing with my old cell phones? I've been donating them to charities.

I was amazed to find so many programs out there which will recycle cell phones and accessories. Many will pay the shipping if you to box up and mail your cell phones and assessories. Even the one I killed (I dropped it in the toilet). ((Yes I reached in and grabbed it as quick as I could but it was too late. I know YUK!)) Anyway that one was recycled, too. It helped buy rain forest land in the Amazon.

ECO-CELL is a premiere cell phone recycling program for environmentally minded fundraisers. Their passion is to provide conservation partners with the most profitable, easy to use and environmentally sound cell phone recycling program possible. (Learn More) They have drop off locations in most of the 50 states and Canada. They also take donations by mail.
